New Years Party

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We ate and ate to welcome the new year
Oliver was no exception
Why did I choose to dress him in a white sweater?

more of the dimple

The boys playing in the empty jacuzzi.
A jacuzzi full of hot water would have been appreciated earlier that day

A new game the boys were playing

Notice Daniel's new clothes. He got a little wet from the remaining water in the hot tub
And you know Daniel and wet clothing.

Polar Swim

To start the year off right we attended a fun New Years Eve pot-luck
with a surprise singing performance by all the Children.

The next morning we then jumped in the pool for the annual polar swim.
Except I didn't swim much, I still remeber the RainTree polar bear swim my Sophmore year at BYU - and I did not enjoy that.

We thought that if we wore more clothes we would be warmer - didn't work.
I didn't get a picture of Marc but he also braved the chilling waters.

The brave soul who came up with this idea.

All the boys after the swim while Marc and I thawed-out
Notice the jackets, it was cold & windy that morning.

Mocktail Party

A few days after Christmas, we had some fun at a mocktail birthday party
Everyone dressed-up - well everyone except all the adults except Marc and me
Yes, we were the only adults dressed up.

I love his dimples.
From the color of Isaac's shirt, there was chocolate cake.

The party ended with some great music & dancing.
