I was too excited to drop them off so we were the first ones there.

Botanical Gardens . . . again

The last stop before home was the US Botanical Gardens.

The trains were still a hit and I think the boys enjoyed them a little too much -

Some negligent parents weren't watching their child well enough to stop him from derailing a train. And yes, those negligent parents were us and the child was Daniel.

American Indian Museum

Our next stop was the American Indian Museum , the line to get into the Air and Space Museum was out the door and to the grass on the National Mall.

Isaac follows Daniel around all day and every day

Inside we listend to a nice concert.

I lost Daniel for a moment until I saw him trying to get on stage. He almost made it until another musician stopped him.

We then enjoyed lunch at the National Gallery of Art

David is the Yankees fan (notice the hat) and Clavin is the Red Sox fan. They enjoy debating about their teams

Natural History Museum

The next day we visited The Smithsonian Natural History Museum

Daniel loved being with his cousins. There were 9 boys in all with lonely Kate being the only girl.

Great Falls

For Christmas Marc's family came to visit. The Cooks from Boston, the Smiths from Connecticut and Grandpa Steve and Aunt Crystal from Utah.

We visited Great Falls because the weather was so nice and the boys are much more manageable when they're outside.

Birthday !

Marc turned 32 on Dec. 19th

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the cake after it was finished but Daniel sure enjoyed the frosting.

I didn't get any pictures of the celebration either- the three boys kept us too busy to take any.
