Baiyun Mountain

The mid-autumn festival continued with a Monday holiay.

We headed to a national park called Baiyun (cloud) mountain.

The view of polluted Guangzhou

Oliver enjoying the view from the cable car.

Daniel's cheese

Isaac, who still needs a haircut.
We actually tried to get one that day but everything was closed due to the holiday.

The cable cars

Daniel checking out the view

Oliver and his big smile.
Notice the lanterns in the background.

Isaac also loved the view.

We then went to a bird reserve.
The heat so so intense that our hike didn't last too long.
Plus we couldn't find the natural spring where the boys could swim.

Near the bird reserve we found a shaded grass hill .
It was a secluded area (very rare in Guangzhou)
so we played there a while before heading back to the cable cars.

What great pictures!! I can't believe how grown up Daniel is looking! And Isaac and Oliver are so stinking cute - especially of them striped down! You guys seem like you are always on some fun family outing - I love it!
