Terracotta Warriors

The Terracotta Army!!

There have been over 7,000 soldiers discovered in just one of the 3 pits.

Daniel really enjoyed seeing the soldiers and knowing that they fought for the emperor.

How much Oliver enjoyed the warriors.

A photo-op with fake warriors.

Up close and personal: each soldiers in unique with its own hair style, uniform, and pose.

A farmer discovered the tomb while digging for a well and our tour guide informed us that the government took his land "b/c the land belongs to the people - not him." He didn't get anything for the discovery. What I don't understand is why she was bragging about that.

The terracotta warriors are on our list of places we want to see--how fun! And my pants are from Old Navy, and yes, they're awesome in heat and humidity!
