Tomb Sweeping Day

We started our day walking down Nanjing road -
Look it's a meiguoren (aka gringo)
.

Daniel just waking up and protecting himself from the wind

Oliver with his Chinese french fry

After enduring the crowds, we headed to the Maglev -
one of the fastest train in the world . . .

The boys calmly sitting as we start off,

Still calm at 435 km/hr -
Click on the picture to see the box above the doorway - it clocks the speed.

Daniel loving the speed.

Isaac still having fun.

After the fast train, we headed to the Huangpu river for a boat cruise.

Oliver wanted more freedom - enough to jump off into the waters.
He wasn't too happy about our restraint - As you can see.

Daniel with the Bund in the background.

Isaac enjoyed the time on the river.

We then headed to a street market before we had some dinner.

Fish, bunnies and birds were the main attraction.

followed by roasting veggies,

and pirated DVD's, (don't worry we didn't buy any)

The birds were a favorite,

but the bunny won.
