One More day in Saigon

After 4 days, we headed back to Ho Chi Minh -
Same train, new seats

Oliver excited about all the space and the nice seats
Yes, he was standing on the table while the train was moving.
Safety first.
Marc reading while I watch the 3 boys.
Oliver enjoying a nap.

They also had TV's playing silient Charlie Chaplin films
The boys didn't seem too interested but the Vietmanese passengers loved them.

Back in the city we chose a new form of transportation.

It felt wrong to have someone bicycle me around,
but we did pay them well, & it was less polluted than a taxi.
A moral dilemma

Inside the Vietnam History museum

That balloon purchase was such a mistake.

Why did I give-in to the ballon salesperson and buy 2 huge balloons for 2 little boys to throw around in a musuem full of expensive and irreplaceable artifacts?

Watching the water puppets performance -
The boys' favorite activity from the entire vacation.

They still talk about them

At the end of the show the puppeteers came out,
and Daniel and Isaac were so confused.

The rooftop pool at the Marriot.
I know, the Marriot you may ask.
Yes, we whimped out and stayed there the last day
It was nice but no free Breakfast.

A view from the rooftop.

There is no shame in staying at a Marriott. Sometimes you've just had about as much local flavor as you can stand.

This trips looks fun, but ambitious and long with the boys in tow. Sorry about the food poisoning, what a nightmare that must have been.
