Textile Museum

Thanks to a great idea from our friend Ginny - the boys and I visited the Textile Museum
It's in NW by all the embassies, Pres. Wilson's house, and a Mosque. I wanted to see all three but the boys only lasted for one.

There was a great hands-on exhibit - Here's Daniel trying to weave.

Here's Isaac at the computer trying to study about the different textiles from around the globe. I think he likes Guatemalan ones the best - I'm not sure why:)

Daniel loved to use the magnify lens

Daniel's favorite activity involved a stamp, an ink pad, and little brother's face.
Here he is warming up on scratch paper.
