Old Post Office Pavilion

In an another attempt to get out of the house & the cold we visited the old post office pavilion.

The glass elevator up 9 stories was the favoriteThey were both so quiet looking down the 9 stories.

The entire area was open without any windows so the cold and the wind prevented us from staying too long.

Luckily they were out of the boy's reach - you all know what would have happenend if they had got a hold of those ropes. .

Since we didn't stay long at the Post office we headed to they Smithsonian Natural History Museum. The boys love the mammals exhibit - but it's odd to see all those stuffed animals that should be in a zoo. There's Daniel in those boots. I don't mind him wearing them because he can't run away as fast.
