One of our first activities in DC

We stayed in an apartment near the pentagon

So we visited the new memorial

Each small pool represents someone who passed away.

It was difficult trying to explain what happened.

I lived across the freeway from the pentagon on 9/11.

I remember seeing this side of the building in flames.
