Ming Tombs

Following the Wall, we headed to the Ming tombs.
Besides some car sickness along the way, it was a pleasant journey through the mountains.

It wasn't crowed, which is rare in China, and the weather was perfect.

There are several animal statues along the path or "sacred walk" that leads to the tombs.

Isaac enjoyed the over-sized animals,
unfortunately Daniel was asleep in the car.
