Guilin

For Spring Holiday we headed to the province of Guangxi

Here are the boys in Guilin.

They attracted a crowd & some random lady was helping/annoying them.

We rented a mini motor boat to explore the Rong Hu lake and to escape the crowds

Did I mention how hot it was. The forecast said thunderstorms all weekend.

We didn't see rain until we were driving to the airport.

Here's a recap of the Guilin aventure:

Taxi late. Trunk too small. Lugage in back with three boys and a mom. Arrive ontime to Airport. Yeh! Security-no problem. Stoller, gate checked, I think. Flight bumpy. Amazing view, rice fields. Landing scary. Stroller arrive but witha flat left tire. Great. Taxi - big trunk, no luggage on lap. Hotel questionable. Lunch, Chinese buffet. Super greasy. The highlight -red hot dogs on a stick.. .Still hungry. Random man fixes tire. Chinese: everyone can fix anything. To park - boys attacked,Daniel ignored it, Isaac loved it. Daniel played in fountain with empy water bottle as a boat, 2 hours later. Retreat to mini motor boat for privacy. Quiet & hot. Oliver eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping. Boys drive boat. Pretty view, limestone mountains, cool bridges. Back to fountain, more garbage boat adventures. Retreat to questionable hotel. Migrane. Marc to random pharmacy. Take Chinese medicine, Scary but effective migrane gone. Yeh! Marc downtown with boys. Pizza hut? Mom's foot massage. Random guy rubbing feet. Akward. Marc's turn. CRAZY massage. Oliver screaming, screaming, screaming. To bathtub with pillows. Screaming some more. Ear drum ruptures. Oliver happy. Oliver sleeping. Hotel wedding. Chinese party all night. Marc returns. Sleep for 4 hours. Boys up at dawn. Boys to Breakfast. Mom skips nasty b-fast buffet. Board bus to Li river - five bodies for 2 seats. Li river. Breathtaking . . .
